The Marketing Assistant/ Social Media Manager provides support for the Marketing Department and is responsible for the social media creation, strategy, execution, development of brand awareness, generation of inbound traffic, and has complete ownership of the social media program for the company.



         The incumbent is responsible for planning, monitoring, analyzing and managing social media and advertising campaigns for all divisions within the company.

         Assists in the development of specific and measurable market objectives, strategies, and action plans.

         Designs and creates digital and print collateral to support multiple marketing initiatives.

         Actively manages social media campaigns via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn & other relevant Social Media platforms.

         Performs limited maintenance and editing of company website (adding pages and making small modifications in conjunction with web developers).

         Manages a customer database in an effort to connect with them through social media platforms.

         Develops and writes content for marketing collateral including websites, newsletters, white papers and product literature.

         Plans/executes marketing events such as trade shows, onsite workshops and mailings.

         Sources and oversees creative development of marketing literature, merchandise and trade show materials.

         Assist with the development and execution of new product launches



         Bachelorís Degree and 1-2 years related experience in marketing, social media and/ or a related communication field.

         Professional knowledge of social media networks and their use (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google +, LinkedIn, etc.).

         Problem solver with creative ideas and an inquisitive nature.

         Extremely detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills, accustomed to multitasking in a fast-paced high growth environment.

         Excellent analytical and communication skills.

         Ability to work independently and also work closely as a team.

         Knowledge and confidence working with numbers.

         Proficiency and knowledge of analytics platforms/social media publishing products
