JO 15381 Engineering/Process/Maintenance Manager


MN based (1.5 hrs west of Minneapolis) or† WI based (1 hr east of Minneapolis)

Salary Range:

To $100K base + 20% bonus and Benefits Package


This position coordinated and manages capital projects, manages the Engineering and Maintenance functions, monitors process operations and assists with technical issues for †††2 manufacturing facilities to support production, process improvements and new process development.


         Develop and execute capital projects as required by management team

         Coordinate equipment installations and construction as necessary to ensure minimal disruption of production

         Monitor and provide technical inputs to the fermentation, extraction, processing and drying operations

         Serve as engineering liaison for Company facilities between other operating units and outside contractors and consultants

         Reduce costs, spend at or below budgets and prepare annual budgets for capital projects

         Provide technical support to Production, R&D, Supply Chain and Quality Control departments

         Manage the Engineering and Maintenance departments


Requirements of this position includes:

         7 years minimum in Engineering field relating to Production Operations (Plant Engineering) and 3 years minimum experience in management of engineering or maintenance functions.

         Experience in the food industry preferably with exposure to fermentation, spray drying and yeast extraction is a plus.

         Requires strong oral and written communications skills as well as computer proficiency.

         Highly resourceful, well organized and self motivated

         A Bachelorís Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Process Engineering or a related field is required
