Reports to:

Director of Applications

Summary:

Develop, direct and assist in the preparation of experiments, applications and demonstrations revolving around new product development and ongoing product improvement. Also assists in sales staff in preparing for customer demonstrations.

Food Scientist with proven success in the Formulation &  Applications of Flavors (Liquid, Pastes, Powders) for finished products such as cheese & other  sauces, salad dressings, soups, bakery, dry mix meals/entrees, beverages etc. for major food companies.

Required:

·         Have an extensive knowledge of kitchen and laboratory equipment.

·         Work requires the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment to accurately develop and follow written guidelines and instructions.

Certification(s):

·         Computer

·         Microsoft Office products

·         Food Lab Equipment

Required
Knowledge:

·         Work requires advanced knowledge in food science.

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ experience in a food science applications setting is required.

·         Culinary training is beneficial.

Required Physical Abilities:

·         Limited to light lifting and standing for bench and store work.

·         Clean temperature, conditioned atmosphere.

·         Office/Lab/Kitchen setting.
