JO 15438  Quality Assurance Manager

Salary Range:

$80K - $90K+

Summary:

The purpose of this position is to provide principled leadership and support for Company growth and improvements, while supporting employees to ensure standard operating procedures; GMP’s/SQF and quality programs are consistently being met.

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for the plants’ Quality Assurance program and employees working in the plants’ QA department.

·         Reports to the Plant Manager and work with Corporate Quality Managers to help lead the Company’s compliance for food safety, quality and customer expectations.

 

Knowledge:

Excellent technical knowledge of cheese, cultured dairy and whey manufacturing is essential, along with a strong working knowledge of microbiology and food science, solid communication and interpersonal skills

 

Qualifications/

Education:

 

·         Dedication, willingness, and flexibility needed to support a 24-hour operation.

·         Bachelor’s Degree required in a related field (i.e. chemistry, food science, scientific field, etc.).

·         At least 5 (five) years’ experience in a QA management capacity supervising multiple employees.

·         At least 5 (five) years’ experience in a food manufacturing / dairy environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         SQF experience highly preferred.
