JO 15449 Account Sales Manager–Flavors, Seasonings & Ingredients


Home office based within the Los Angeles, CA area

Salary Range:

Competitive base salary + 25-30% bonus potential + car mileage program

Manufacturer of custom value-added Spice/Seasonings blends, Flavors & Ingredients for the food and beverage industry.

Reporting Relationship:

Position reports to the Director of Sales


BS/BA – Food Technology/Chemistry, Business, Marketing or other technical preferred.

Required Experience:

·         Minimum of 5 years FLAVOR/INGREDIENT sales experience to the food manufacturing industry.

·         Has developed a solid track record of sales success.

·         Strong technical/presentation skills.

·         Computer skills.


·         Responsible for existing & new Key Customer Accounts

·         Responsible for the sales management and growth of account base

·         Identify sales opportunities that best utilize corporate technical, manufacturing, and packaging capabilities.

·         Aggressively pursue new business presenting corporations ability to partner with customer from concept, through R&D, manufacturing, etc.

·         Project management from initial sales call through production, packaging, and shipment

·         Responsible for margin management

·         Work closely with the Manufacturing Team to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of company objectives

·         Inform management and operations of customer requirements and needs

·         To be a supportive and cohesive member of the Sales and Marketing Team
