JO 15517 Maintenance Supervisor



Salary Range:



A successful candidate will provide a unique blend of hands on maintenance supervision, people leadership and development with an administrative aptitude skill aiding and leading the implementation of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The position reports to the plant manager and will directly supervise the company’s maintenance team and parts ordering.

Key Missions:


·         Direct the maintenance of physical assets of the plant to insure continued operation and attainment of line effectiveness, yields and costs.

·         Support the operations team in reviewing operating standards, line speeds, OEE, yields and identify improvement opportunities.

·         Develop long-term predictive and preventive plans to improve equipment sustainability, and attainment of line effectiveness, yields and competitive costs.

·         Manage maintenance budgets to ensure optimized and competitive costs.

·         Insure compliance with all company, city, state and federal regulations.

·         Insure compliance to Safety, Food Safety, preventative maintenance policies and procedures.

Candidate Criteria:


·         Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Food Processing related area or equivalent combination of education/trade certification and/or experience required.

·         Experience with SAP, SAP CMMS module would be a strong asset.

·         Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial plant maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing environment.

·         Minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership capacity required.

·         Computer proficiency required.

·         Demonstrated technical aptitude and strong experience with fluid mechanics, refrigeration (ammonia systems), heat transfer process, building/plant construction and new equipment installation with sanitary design, USDA/3A sanitary design principles, OSHA, EPA and related regulations, industrial best practices engineering principles.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to implement Groupe’s industrial best practices, to work in cross functional teams and to manage technicians, contractors and vendors.

·         Must have a flexible schedule and be available on weekends when needed.
