The Supply Chain Manager works under the guidance of the Director of Operations sourcing packaging, raw ingredients and other supplies while maintaining a measureable Supply Chain.   This person will be responsible for approx. $18 -20 million in raw material and packaging purchases.



1.       Source and purchase all raw ingredients and packaging materials.

2.        Manage inventory levels through sophisticated Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.

3.       Source and purchase various Maintenance, Repair, and Operation (MRO) supplies.

4.       Monitor and correct weaknesses in the Supply Chain through the supplier monitoring system.

5.       Collaborate with Research and Development and the Applications departments on sample requests for new ingredients.

6.       Maintain effective supplier relationships through appropriate accountability and accommodation.

Skills & Abilities:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a combination of experience, relationship, and validated performance indicating the above competencies and functions can be satisfied without a degree.

A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in purchasing preferred.


Computer Skills: 
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (demonstrated advanced skills in Excel and Access) and MRP/ERP.


Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception)

Sense of Sound (20db minimum)
Sense of Touch
