This Company is a growing, fast paced meat processing facility, producing ham and sausage products and shipping throughout the US and overseas. We are searching for a motivated person for PROCESSING SUPERVISOR. A background in the meat industry would be a plus. This person will provide day-to-day leadership and management for their employees, establish means and methods to insure all of their crew perform job functions correctly and safely, ensure production outputs are met, adhere company policies & procedures, and responsible for employee performance and retention.


Responsibilities & Qualifications:

         Ensure all new hires and existing employees perform their jobs safely, correctly and with the highest level of quality and ability. To train, teach, coach and motivate employees.

         Responsible for meeting established production targets, quality and yield standards.

         Assigns, directs and monitors work performed by their employees.

         Maintain product specifications under BRC

         Must be familiar with processing equipment

         Supervisor will work closely with Quality Assurance staff to further ensure all procedures and policies are followed.

         Familiar with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPS and OSHA

         Able to work in a fast paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.

         Ability to provide on-the-job training

         Maintain all pertinent records, reports and paperwork as established

         Able to stand and work in a cold environment for extended periods of time

         Self-directed able to work effectively with or without direct supervision

         Ability to communicate in English is required bilingual ability a plus

         Able to work effectively with a diverse workforce

         To maintain safety, quality, sanitation and productivity standards

         Identify specific problems and identify solutions to get them resolved. This includes, but is not limited to, developing action plans for the next step.

         Achieve budgeted goals for efficiency on an on-going basis.
