Manage the day to day operations of the Company.

Essential Functions Statement(s):

         Ensure enough supply of livestock is available to process for customer sales.

         Manage daily operations to maintain quality service by enforcing company standards, policies and procedures.   

         Ensure business practices are within the law and ensure company complies with USDA standards.

         Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems or in resolving escalated complaints or disputes.

         Review records or reports pertaining to company's activities such as production, processing, maintenance to verify details, monitor work activities, or evaluate performance.

         Keep President and Vice President informed on key company issues.

         Manage department costs to maintain strong financial records.

         Develop business plans for potential new markets and products.

         Build relationship with key customers, implement company's culture and build team moral.

         Participate in regular Executive Management meetings.

         Support company initiatives.

         Help resolve company issues.

         Establish and communicate goals to team members

         Allocate resources.

         Set job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.

         Identify issues, recommend areas of improvement.

         Train employees and recommend growth opportunities.

         Maintain quality control and service; assist in resolving quality issues.

         Maintain a safe, secure, and legal work environment.

High School Graduate or General Education Degree(GED): Required
Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school):  Preferred
Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school):  Preferred


Five plus years of experience in Meat Process, preferably in red meat harvest.
