JO 15582 Account Manager – Chemical Sales & Service to the Food, Beverage and Dairy Industry



Salary Range:

Up to $80K


This position is responsible to provide cleaning and sanitation solutions for food, beverage and dairy manufacturing environments through a dual focus on sales and technical service/consultation to new and existing customers.

What You Will Do:

Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of sanitation, safety, quality and operations; including assisting with sanitation plans and programs, standard operating procedures, evaluating processes and procedures, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies and employee training.

Basic Qualifications:

·         A valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

·         Willingness and availability to work varying hours including 1-3 nights per week (second and/or third shift) per week.

·         Willingness and ability to travel by car through a SE Wisconsin territory, including periodic overnight travel.

·         Ability to stand for extended periods.

·         Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Plant experience in the food, beverage or dairy processing/manufacturing industry.

·         CIP experience desired

·         Sales and/or customer service experience.

·         General mechanical aptitude and problem solving abilities.

·         Computer skills, general working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point

·         Desire to succeed in a competitive environment.

·         Strong follow-through and organizational skills.

·         Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation Package:

·         Base salary and commissions on additional chemical sales to new and/or existing customers.

·         Car mileage allowance.

·         Laptop computer and cell phone.

·         A complete training program that will fully prepare you for an established Wisconsin territory.

·         Expense account covering overnight stays and meals, supplies and work related expenses.
