JO 15675 National Key Account Sales Manager
Specialty custom Vegetable producer & processor:  frozen, canned, quick blanched refrigerated, vegetable based sauces, sautéed & seasoned, Organic, Kosher, Private label, Co-packed.

Sold to the major food manufacturers such as Nestle as an ingredient, & to the Foodservice Chain accts such as McDonalds, Hardees.


MARYLAND, DELAWARE. This position is based from the Company Corp. Office. Relocation Assistance provided.

Salary Range:

$ Competitive Base compensation, plus yearend bonus potential.


Serves customers by selling products; meeting customer needs within a specified region of the country. Serves the Company by increasing profitability and market presence consistent with divisional and company strategies.

A growing company with strategic growth in the Industrial, Food Service, Custom Consumer Products Contracting, & other Specialty manufacturing areas.

This Company will interview & hire immediately.

Essential Functions:

1.       Services new & existing key accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers within specified region across a variety of food and related markets.

2.       Manages administrative tasks including price quote requests, commercialization process, and customer follow up.

3.       Works closely with customer service, R&D, operations, and sales management.

4.       Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual territory analyses.

5.       Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

6.       Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

7.       Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

8.       Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

9.       Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

10.   Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

11.   Up to 50% overnight travel required mostly by plane.

Additional Responsibilities:

Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.


·         BA/BS degree preferred

·         5 years related Key Account sales experience required.

·         Must also have demonstrated success in:  customer service, meeting sales goals, closing skills, territory management, prospecting skills, negotiation, self-confidence, product knowledge, presentation skills, client relationships, and motivation for sales.

·          MS Office proficiency including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint required.

·         Technical selling, CRM/MS SharePoint, specialty sales experience preferred.
