Individual
Responsibilities:

Build, motivate and mentor the Regional Global Key Acct Sales Team of 8-10 in line with the Company’s core values and company ethics while leveraging best practices.

-  Responsible for Regional Global Key Account Manager Talent development.

-  Lead and manage the Regional Global Key Acct Managers in North America to meet or exceed revenue, profitability and budgetary objectives.

-  Active member of North American Flavors Executive Leadership Team contributing to the overall region strategy, objectives, talent development, new business models, etc.

-  Lead specific strategic initiatives as a member of the North American Flavors. Executive Leadership Team

-  Translate and drive the Global Strategy guidelines into the North America region.

-  Ensures appropriate regional strategies/account plans are in place for each. Regional Key Global Account shared and aligned with Global Key Acct Strategy and category plans.

-  Ensure effective project management & vitality in line with Operational Rules, Client Segmentation and Category Focus.

-  Fosters behaviors that are customer-centric, nurtures division culture and fosters changes, while acting as a role model.

-  Work with Regional Key Global Acct Mgrs to develop long term productive customer relationships.

-  Liaison with regional key global acct mgrs and Business Partners to ensure customer service levels.

-  Active contributor in the Sales and Operations Planning/forecasting process

-  Work with the Global Key Global Acct mgrs on Core listings and ensure all agreed core listings are executed and managed correctly within North America..

-  Ensures execution of global key global acct pricing agreements and trade terms.

-  Link with other Regional Key global acct Leads in the other regions to share best practices.

-  Work closely with Innovation Team to process new idea generation.

-  Maintains necessary industry-memberships (IFT, etc.)

 

Key Shared
Responsibilities:

With North America Leadership Team:

-  Revenue, profitability, vitality, Account Receivable targets, etc.

-  Overall Regional strategy, talent development, new business models, etc.

 

With the VP of Sales, NA:

-  Ensures alignment of sales force coverage with the Flavor Division strategic objectives (category focus) and long-term market requirements.

-  Ensures consistent and aligned talent development, key performance indicators, etc. across the Regional Sales and Regional Key Global Account teams.

-  Sharing of best practices across the Sales Team.

-  Establishes and nurtures productive customer relationships at all relevant levels of accounts.

Qualifications:

-  Minimum of 10+ years of Flavor sales experience or a combination of 10+ years of flavor technical and sales experience.

-  Proven track record of managing a successful sales team.

-  Technical degree in Food Science or related field a plus.

-  Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.

-  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

-  P&L understanding.

-  Process success leading effective negotiations.

-  Can build successful working relationships.

-  Strong business acumen.

-  Service mindset to ensure customer satisfaction / resolution.

-  Pricing and payment term management experience.

-  Proven track record with strong Project Management skills

-  Strong influencing skills to deliver business imperatives

-  Proficient in the Microsoft Suite Applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

-  Previous experience with SAP systems applications a plus.

-  Global Coordination coordinate and facilitate global accounts a plu.
