JO 15722 National Ingredient Food Sales Manager
Flavorings, Baking extracts/ingredients, vanilla, cocoa, spice blends

Location:

COLORADO based from Corp. home office & production facility (close to CO State University). Relocation provided.

 

Salary Range:

$90K - $110K base + Bonus. This is a full-time salary plus bonus position with 401(K) retirement opportunities, full benefits package, paid time off and profit sharing plan.

Summary:

The company is a privately owned food flavoring company specializing in vanilla products and liquid flavorings. Customer base to industrial food manufactures continues to grow across the nation. Looking for a candidate with a minimum of five years’ experience selling food flavorings directly to food manufactures.  This includes developing and obtaining new customer accounts as well as maintaining and growing existing business.

 

Key
Responsibilities:

·         Must be accountable for all sales forecasts, sales, margins and profitability.

·         Help drive product development and understand LEAN manufacturing practices. Individual will work closely with marketing, R&D, manufacturing and distribution.

·         This individual will work directly with senior management to develop sales strategies, product development and customer focus.

·         Attend trade shows.

·         Identify new customers to expand sales.

·         Maintain current book of business with existing customers.

·         Must be willing to travel as needed to customers nationwide &maintain a travel budget.

 

Qualifications:

·         Individual must have 5-7 years of experience selling flavorings directly to food manufactures and their key decision makers.

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

·         Solid B2B network with a proven track record in the food ingredient sales industry.

·         Effective at developing customer-based strategic plans for new and existing customers.

·         Proven cold-calling abilities.

·         Technical fluency and familiarity with food ingredients and standards.

·         Self-starting and multi-tasking a must. Will have to wear several different hats to achieve goals.
