QSR/Headquarter Chain Acct. (Home office based ~ preferably Atlanta, GA)

however, other foodservice hub locations & access to a good airport considered
Manufacturer of custom value-added Spice/ Seasonings blends, Flavor Technologies & Ingredients for the food and beverage industry.

Location:

Based from your home office.

Salary Range:

$Competitive base compensation plus uncapped bonus/commission + car, year end MBO bonus etc.  Good company benefits, 401K, PS.

Summary:

Serves foodservice and related customers by selling custom non-branded value-added products; meeting customer needs. Serves the Company by increasing profitability and market presence consistent with divisional and company strategies.

Key to this position is someone who understands customized formulations and liquid & Dry flavor systems vs. finished national brand goods. 

Account responsibility would include customers such as :

Outback Steakhouse, Burger King, Church’s, Ruby Tuesday, O Charley’s, Dairy Queen, Compass Group,  Tricon Pizza Hut, Long John Silver’s, Applebee's, Houlihan’s, Texas Roadhouse,  Harrah's L.E.Y. Corporation, Steak and Shake, Sonic, Paragon Steakhouses, Hard Rock, P.F. Chang’s, TGIF-Friday's, Beef-O-Brady's, King & Prince Seafood, Barber Foods, Arden Foods, Popeye's, Shoney's, Krystal, VICORP, Steak-Out, Arby's, Darden, Planet  Hollywood, Denny's, Copeland's, Chick-fil- A, Longhorn, Huddle House etc.

 

Essential
Functions:

1.       Sales and administrative management of the Foodservice and related markets on a regional/national basis.

2.       Directs management of key account relationships including:  servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders; establishing new accounts; planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers; identification of new projects/opportunities within existing or prospective accounts.

3.       Closely work with Culinary and other key R&D personnel for managing sample development and approval of ingredients within the foodservice customer base.

4.       Assists in the development and implementation of the Foodservice Strategic and Tactical plans and reports on execution on a quarterly basis.

5.       Manages and executes strategy for Foodservice market growth with other sales personnel within Industrial Ingredients and Protein divisions.

6.       Manages administrative tasks including price quote requests, commercialization process, and customer follow up.

7.       Works closely with customer service, R&D, operations, and sales management to drive sales within the foodservice market(s).

8.       Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports such as call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

9.       Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

10.   Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

11.   Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

12.   Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

13.   Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales with the Company’s CRM.

14.   Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in technical field preferred; as well as, minimum 3 years experience in territory field sales. 

Demonstrated competency in customer service, meeting sales goals, closing skills,

territory management, prospecting skills, negotiation, self-confidence, product knowledge, presentation skills, client relationships, motivation for sales, CRM/MS SharePoint, MS Office. 

Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

 

Quality:

Must possess, demonstrate and follow all instructions, procedures, and guidelines set forth in all applicable Company/ISO/department policies to assure continued quality product is produced.

 

Physical
Demands:

This position requires travel.

Working
Conditions:

Home office based with participation at company events including audits, plant tours, culinary work sessions, and production areas required from time to time.
